We are now looking for a personal assistant for a happy, cuddly, and playful 9-year-old boy for a mixed position with both day and night shifts. He is a boy who loves closeness, security, and routines – and who needs support throughout the day, both when the day is full of play and when the night is quiet.

He has extensive care needs, partly due to epilepsy with both small and large seizures, which means you always need to be close and ready to act calmly and securely according to instructions. You will be his security – whether the sun is shining or the world is sleeping.

What does the job entail?

Being a personal assistant to a child is not just about practical support – but about creating security, continuity, and presence.

• During the day (after school on weekdays or all day during weekends and holidays), you help him with all of the day's activities, create joy, and stimulate play and development.
• During the night, you are close, ensure that he sleeps safely, and assist with the routines that belong to the night and morning.

You will receive good introduction and guidance from the family and our team. Even though the work is performed independently, you are never alone in your role.

About the position:

• Working hours: to be discussed, but between 60-75% may be relevant
• Working time: Both day and night shifts according to a fixed rolling schedule (weekdays 13.40-21.00, nights 21.00-08.00 (09.00 on weekends), weekends and holiday days 09.00-21.00)
• Location: Mainly at his mother's home just north of Ystad (Sövestad), but work at his father's home in Malmö (Limhamn) may also occur.
• Start: Immediately

We are looking for you who:

• Have a big heart, a calm mind, and a warm personality
• Are responsible, empathetic, and secure in yourself
• Are attentive and have patience
• Have the ability to work independently but sensitively
• Preferably have experience with epilepsy and assistance from before
• Have experience with AAC, TACC, eye control, or other communication support
• Thrive in a work situation with great responsibility
• Are smoke-free

• Can start the introduction as soon as possible
